Last May, the Data Science Institute hosted it's very first conference titled 'Advances in Data Science 2017.' An exciting line-up of high-level speakers from industry and academia attracted more than 150 delegates from across Europe to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester for the two day event.

Following from the success of this year's event, the Data Science Institute is pleased to announce the next conference will take place on the 21st and 22nd of May 2018 at the Museum of Science & Industry. This year's focus will be on data science for societal wellbeing.

Registration is now open for this year's Advances in Data Science 2018. The registration fee is £100 and the cost of the workshop dinner on Monday evening is £50.
