The Weston Brain Institute invited applications for its UK: Novel Biomarkers 2017 granting program to support high-risk, high-reward translational projects on understudied and/or underfunded biomarkers in clinical samples/data or patients. Eligible Principal Applicants must be at or above the level of Lecturer (Assistant Professor) and hold an appointment at the institution from which they are applying. Projects can request up to £333,000 over up to 3 years, and applications close 19 April 2017.
Institutions must be located in the UK and must be designated as a UK-registered charity. Researchers at a qualified UK institution meeting public benefit requirement towards research in neurodegenerative diseases of ageing may be eligible; please contact the Institute before applying.
